STRENGTHENING THE NETWORK

With a focus on relieving the hunger that exists within Canada today, we invest in the food bank network across Canada, with programs to improve excellence, innovation, capacity, reach, knowledge sharing & best practices and efficiency.

“The impact this grant will have is essentially more choice and variety of healthy and nutritious food options for our clients. We will also be able to reach some of our most vulnerable populations such as home bound clients, seniors, and those suffering from mental health related issues. The grant opens the door to allow more freedom of choice in a dignified and respectful manner”

Thanks to donors and partners, Food Banks Canada has distributed over $180M in funding and provided $68M in program support to strengthen food bank network over the past five years.  This funding helps local food banks provide exceptional care and service to all those they serve.
